I’m often asked this question so I thought I would take the time at the beginning of last weeks online class to answer this.
Please note, there’s no right or wrong here, this is simply my suggestion in how we can move during our practice to be able to listen to the messages the body sends us that we often miss.
If we are to use our movement as a way of releasing stored tension and stress within the myofascia, then our awareness should remain mindful and gentle, so that we can listen in and learn how each movement feels to us in each moment.
